Born in India, Dr. Khemka spent most of his childhood growing up in the neighboring country of Nepal. He earned his medical degree at Kasturba Medical College, considered one of the best medical schools in India, where he graduated among the top 5% of his class.

After a clinical internship in one of the best-rated trauma hospitals in New Delhi, India, Dr. Khemka relocated to the UK, where he gained extensive ER experience and was inspired to pursue a medical career in Anesthesiology & Pain Management.

In 1999, he migrated to the United States to participate in an Anesthesiology & Critical Care residency at Tulane University Hospital in New Orleans, where he was recognized with the Humanitarian of the Year Award in 2002 and the Outstanding Resident of Graduating Class Award in 2003. Following his residency, he was selected to participate in a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at the world-renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

Dr. Khemka joined Westcare Clinic in 2020, bringing with him a wealth of experience, the latest techniques, and board certifications in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology, coupled with a dedication to deliver the best possible treatment plan for each of his patients. He is a strong proponent of using a multidisciplinary approach to pain management and in involving his patients’ family members in the treatment planning.
